At the meeting, Vice-Chairman Cheng Hongjin summarized the 3rd "Yangcheng Artisan Cup" Skills Competition of Vanleadi Group. The 3rd "Yangcheng Artisan Cup" Skills Competition focused on "cultivating craftsman spirit and creating Vanlead exquisite products". Four skills competitions were held, including welder, general chemical control worker, marketer and programmable control system designer. 123 workers participated in the final competition and 37 workers were awarded. 26 staffs were qualified as senior workers. Vanlead Group has successfully held three group skills competitions since 2016, and has carried out 11 competitions. There are 558 employees participating in the competitions. 43 employees have obtained senior workers/technicians certificates through skills competitions. 8 employees have received the honorary titles of "Guangzhou Technological Expert" awarded by the Municipal People's Social Bureau and "Guangzhou Technological Innovation Expert" awarded by the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions. At the same time, on the basis of the group skill competition, the enterprises under the group have carried out nearly 100 activities around production and operation, such as skill competition, related skills, management training, technological transion, rationalization suggestions, advanced evaluation and so on, with 2000 employees participating in the activities, which has made positive contributions to increasing income and reducing consumption of enterprises and building skilled personnel team.
